It started when I was only 8 years old. My parents always wondered if I had some gasoline in my veins. I always talked about cars and speed did really attract me. I knew for sure, I wanted to be a race car driver.
First I had some indoor lessons and I was scouted realIy fast to do a test at the local Berghem kart track. I got so much fun out of it my parents decided to buy me a new kart to enter competition in the Honda Cadet Series for my first karting season. That season I won my first race and racing became so addictive, I stepped up to the 2-stroke Rotax Max Series the following season.
I raced two years in Rotax Minimax and scored many podiums and some victories in national and international championships. In Rotax Junior Max the real competition started where I raced in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge. That first year in Juniors was tough and I missed some podiums due to bad luck and mechanical failures. I ended at P9 in my first European season.
In my fourth year in 2-stroke, I will be competing in Rotax Senior Max class in three major championships, both national and international including the Rotax Max Euro Trophy.
Provide a stable racing environment for young drivers where we can work together on both driving and mental skills. Racing is the ultimate team sport. Create awareness at the drivers that there is racing and the real world. The best drivers know how to combine these two worlds.
We as a team will guide our drivers to that state of mind, which is a target condition for excellent performance. Drive, stamina, good sportsmanship and respect are just a few of the elements, just as good coaching, superior equipment and world class materials.
